Email address (waitlist)
Collected when you submit the waitlist form on our homepage. Used solely to notify you about early access and product updates.
Account data via Clerk
When you create an account, Clerk (our authentication provider) collects your name and email address. This data is used to authenticate you and associate your jobs with your account.
Usage data
We record the jobs you create, the content type selected (e.g. data-driven, narrative), and the source URL or text input you provide. This helps us improve the service and enforce fair-use quotas.
Generated video content
Videos, audio narration, and associated assets you generate are stored in cloud storage and associated with your account. You retain full ownership of this content.
Contract performance
Processing your account data and generated content is necessary to provide the LeyCast service to you as a paid or trial user.
Legitimate interest
We process aggregated usage data (jobs created, content types) to improve the product. This interest is balanced against your rights and does not override them.
Consent
We send marketing and early-access emails only when you have actively opted in via the waitlist form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing privacy@codzelerate.com.
We share data with the following sub-processors to operate LeyCast. Each processor outside the European Economic Area (EEA) transfers data under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as required by GDPR Article 46.

LeyCast uses only functional cookies set by Clerk for authentication (to keep you signed in). We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party marketing trackers. No cookie banner is required because we rely solely on strictly necessary cookies.

All video content produced by LeyCast is generated using artificial intelligence, including narration scripts, scene compositions, voiceover audio, and (where applicable) scene imagery. Under the EU AI Act and other emerging regulations, AI-generated content may require disclosure when published. We recommend labelling LeyCast videos as AI-generated when sharing publicly. LeyCast includes a “Made with LeyCast” attribution in the video outro and, for free-tier users, a watermark overlay. These serve as AI content indicators.
